about how to play right tee. main point of this article is that play too
long would slow down the game.
suggested formula, 5iron distance * 36
if 5iron = 185, then pick tee play to 6600 yard or so.
for "无知无畏者" enjoys sensation of long shots, an alternative to play
longer length, how about forgo putting? deem the hole is finished once put

that formula has been floating around for a while.
but, i think that formula doesnt work for me at all. and maybe it is
outdated.
we were at san jose muni last sat., before second tee ixcafe was suggesting
that we might either play gold tee or black tee, since the first tee is gold
and black combine. then decided to play gold tee. 71.8/119, 6700 yards.
turn out that setup is the best suit to my game.
and i dont even carry a 5-iron, and never get chance to use it at all.
