发帖数: 517 | 1 Hit with MP-37 and X-forge 6 and 8 irons at Roger Dunns yesterday. The irons
came with R300 or S300 shafts. Did not have much feel but not so difficult
to launch the ball. No miss hit.
Are the blades really so difficult to hit? I am a bogey player. |

one, you can hit any kind. Don't expect to get the feel of what you've got
from the cavity irons you do daily or weekly, from your yesterday's

I tried big cavity irons, such as G10. It felt like hitting a nail with a
hummer, regardless of the type of shaft. No FEEL at all.
My current irons are AP2 with Riffle Flighted 5.0.

那种感觉是真真体会出来的。
tiger常用个词叫做hit flush, 大概就是这种感觉。

how much control we feel when hitting each tested iron, how accurate we
feel each tested iron, how forgiving each tested iron is on off center hits,
how we like the trajectory of the ball off each tested iron, how we feel
each tested iron at impact, solid contact or not, etc.

Big cavity seems to kill that flush feeling.

Big cavity is longer but with a bigger spread, if you have no distance
issue, then you should not go with it.

发帖数: 517 | 12 I use forged irons with dual cavity (Titleist AP2). A little shy of distance
. I am working on consistency and supinating left wrist at impact. Goal is
to carry 150 - 160 yards with 7 iron. |
