Never calculated it before. Tried this website http://golf.about.com/od/handicaps/l/blhandicapincal.htm this time and got my score based on last 5 rounds. My game has been improved a lot recently. So happy.

in a while.
i played two single digits, BOTH at callippe, 50 year or so american men.
they said they play anywhere from 72-100.
我的印象是:
开球的确好, (240+ to 250/260) 不好的时候落点也可以接受. APPROACH MOSTLY
ARE GOOD(ocassional bad shot, but frequency is very low). PUTT WELL, not very many 3putts, occassionaly 1 putt. they play
at the course multiple times already.

additive我到不觉得有多重要，也许我过了那个近了。
身体协调性很重要就不说了。
无论bogey golfer, 还是single digit, 不能犯大错误，或者有那种recovery的 能力
也很重
要。 那样的话，成绩基本上就很容易稳定下来。

winter). If I calculated my handi last year, I would definitely end up with
12,13 something like that.

I am not even close to playing par or under. My last 5 rounds: 80, 81, 79,
82, 83. The round of 82 is the hardest course I played and it is the first
time I play there.
I putt very well, with about 30-32 putts/round. Rarely had 3 putts and made
a few long ones.
The biggest difference from last year is: now, if I approach the green with
a 6-10 feet to the pin, I strongly feel I can make a birdie and fortunately
I made most of them...

woods or something like that). If I make a mistake, I will lower my
expectation in this hole and dedicate to each shot left. For example, when I
had a bad drive, I told myself boggy is not bad and I knew I still have
multiple chances to save a par (a good pitching, chipping or putting, and
you only need one of them to save par).

pga professional 资格考试的一项是要在6000码的球场的2论成绩不超过15over
而且球洞的位置都在中间。

ET, how much did you benefit from your coach? I never had a coach and am
seriously thinking about it now. I have some issue with my take-away or back
swing.

i only have one formal coach - Lee Martin @ River Ridge Golf Course, Oxnard,
CA. I followed him for one
year.
I improved dramatically over the year.
I followed exactly what he taught me . He taught me a few things - well,
basically the swing.
one of the things which bothered me a lot was that he taught the few things
over and over again in the
year.
for instance, i never had chance to work the short game with him until I
insist on. so i got one lesson. it's
right before i head to Texas.
