Driver一杆（不远，但是在Fairway上），Fairway Wood一杆，3号Hybrid一杆到了
Green边上较

to me, the difference between birdie and bogey is your putting.
over the weekend, i played a round, 6 GIR, and 6 of them end up 3-putt,
total, got 7 3putts. it is very frustrating that for every birdie attempt
end up with bogey. good that i have 4 1putt which are all up and down save,
make me feel slightly better.
putting is the key to convert birdie.

depends on how good we're putting. "putting is the key to convert birdie".
Like the last Thursday, I played in twilight and finished 15 holes, getting
2 double bogeies, 5 pars, 3 out of them from the par 5s. The rest are
bogeies. If I did a little better on putting, I could have had 2 or 3
birdies and more pars.

triple and one of them is a par 3 holes. My next target is to eliminate
triple bogey to hit middle 90s or even lower 90s.

发帖数: 2325 | 7 putt within 10ft is key, like what % you can make a 10ft putt. if you have
higher %, then the confidence and the routine you go by will help during
course play.
for me, i think it is lower than 30%. really have to get some intimate
feeling of green readings, solid putting stroke that kind of stuff.
heard or saw guys have had chip-in or pitch-in for birdie/eagle.
unfortunately i never got them during course play,
probably in total, I have had 7-8 chip-in or pitch-in now, all on practice
green.

发帖数: 4031 | 8 I missed all 10 ft putts on the Thursday, as well as the Tuesday's plays.
Fortunately, I had less three putts than usual last week.
I always have a few chip-ins or pitch-ins on weekend practice, but it's
never happened on course, either.

发帖数: 4031 | 9 I've been trying to improve my putting and minimize my double or triple
bogeies. a par5 is always my favorite and I am doing OK with most par3s. A
long par4 is my weakest link and most time I have a bogies or double out of
there.

这个很遗憾。if the green are all very very sloped, acceptable. in that case
, golf instructor always teach to place the ball bellow the hole and do
uphill putting.
我以前觉得PUTTER 是最容易HIT SOLID 的CLUB。 但是最近发现未必。 without
hitting center of putter face solidly, distance control will be problem (
second putt still very long). here is my 2cents, may or may not helpful ---
when address the ball, make sure the putter face is sqaure(i mean, proper
loft, not face down much

but i think my new putter is the one to be blamed. i plan to change the loft
soon, since it didnt fit me.
i have been using it to play two rounds, one with 4 3-putts and one with 7 3
-putts.
one of the other reasons is the shot before putting, since i tend to play sa
ve, and land the ball in the middle of the green, roll too far to the hole.

没triple就好了！！
可是，能达到没triple太难了。一场保证只有一个的话，估计也是个80's的水平了。
