since i game with R7, i know drivers from TaylorMade are good. Although, I
do like Titlelist as well.

side. That is exactly my feeling. RBZ is straighter, further and more
forgiving than R11s.

The stock Matrix shaft. Some people complain that it is too light. However I
like lighter shaft and love the C.Kua in my cleveland woods.

RBZ只能打到240到250。RBZ有点太轻了，R11s我用着正好。我不知道为什么大家都说
RBZ比R11s打得远。但我确实是R11s打得远。

，比用其它所有牌子的总和还要多。要是有错，错的是自己技术不行。哈哈。

The taylormade and adams drivers have deeper face (feel the face is tall)
and yield lower trajectory.Ping drivers have shallower face (feel the face
is wide) and produce higher trajectory. Titleist is somewhere in between.
I used 909D2 before and switched to G15. I had a R7 Quad but that one did
not work out too well for me. Maybe my swing needs some lift to launch the
ball.

since i intentionally de-loft my driver to gain control over distance, i
would not want to go with drivers design to add more loft. To me, distance
is not an issue.
And I consistently push my buddies to try my approach, since they can easily
crank 300 yards if needed. But for them, when playing from Blue tee, like
most amateur preferred, they could not use driver. So they have to tee off
with other woods or hybrid, even iron. I just feel they should utilize their
driving strength by de-lofting the club.

his irosn to help spin and control. Rickie Fowler used to make his irons a
little stronger. Maybe different for each individuals. |

gain distance.
For driver, tee it lower would be shorter, since I remember there are many
tips for beginner who can not drive far are focusing on teeing it higher.
For driver, tee it higher would catch the ball on the upper ward trend, in
turn launch the ball in the air. The ball would drive farther.
But the examples i gave are for those players could generate high speed, and
ball can easily be hit very far, no need to rely on launching angel to gain
more distance. Just imagine you are hitting against wind every time.

looking into ways to lower my trajectory and am thinking about getting a
G20 less loft.
So in terms of control you gain by de-lofting, what improvment can I expect,
distance or direction control?

my wrists along with my body turn for the release, so I don’t feel much
difference with a deep or a shallow face driver. Always hit the ball high
with either one. I do feel the difference with the same flexibility between
different brands of the driver shafts, especially between the shafts of
TaylorMade and Titleist.

发帖数: 3067 | 28 for me, i don't have control on distance, since I don't want to put control
when i drive, since that would complicate the swing.
de-lofting would help me tremendously in terms of direction. I still have
problem with my alignment very often now and then, but most of time my drive
is low and straight (at least straight to the direction i was aligned).
that is not to say, i don't have problem with my drive, i do, but at least i
can limit the direction.
