"The MIT Pistol team and the MIT Rifle team both use .22 caliber
target guns with .22 Long Rifle ammunition. The brand that I shoot
for practice and in Standard Pistol is CCI (Long Rifle Standard
Velocity Non-Plated)--medium priced. For competition in Free Pistol,
I shoot match-grade Eley TenEx (far more expensive). But certain
ammunition works well with certain guns--for example, I tried
Remington and Winchester ammunition that other people used in their
