moving part doesn't needs fitting.
The parts might need fitting is the one at the front of the kit, separate
from the kadet kit's slide, it's used to fix the kit in place. as shown in
first photo. Only fit away a small amount inside the red circle. If it fits
a little tight to your frame, that's fine, it will loose up with usage.
The second photo shows the kadet kit's slide moved back, it's very clear
