this video makes open-carriers look bad. | h*****d 发帖数: 244 | 4 I don't think that guy was open carrying, because he wasn't wearing a open
carry holster. The title was just misleading.
One of the rednecks pulled out his bassball bat. It's totally justified for
the guy to draw his gun.

I didn't watch the whole thing and I didn't want to, because it was long and
stupid, so I kinda skipped to the part where he took their camera.
well how do you justify that armed robbery he just committed?
besides that, I'm not sure what happened in the middle of the video, but he
didn't have to pull over and confront these two idiots. Depends on what
state he's in, for that he could be charged with aggravated assault with
deadly weapon when he had duty to retreat, because not every state has stand
your ground laws that protect you when you INTENTIONALLY escalate the
situation.
in the real world, CCW/OCers should:
1. call the cops
2. keep driving until the cops catch up to you and deal with the situation.
3. make sure you declare that you're the caller and you CCW/OC a weapon,
keep your hands on the wheel and make no sudden movements.
4. in case you're cornered before the cops can show up, draw your weapon and
give verbal warning, tell'em to back off, get down on the ground, place
them under civil arrest, whatever; but for the love of J.M Browning, just
don't take their stupid camera.

The guy didn't pull over to confront the rednecks. He was chased to a dead
end. He remained in his car until the redneck waved a baseball bat at him.
He found out they had been video typed but didn't know what and why, so he
took the camera. It's totally understandable.
I seriously doubt the police would charge him with armed robbery, let alone
a conviction.
He was cornered. In a situation like this, I'd say he reacted pretty cool.

isnt the camera turned in to the police as evidence, instead of being
confiscated by himself? Any lawyer worth his grain of salt could have caught
that, then this would be a case of civil lawsuit.
I really dont want to watch this retarded video, so ok, let's say the first
part is plausible for self defense, but immediately he robbed them.
