Mine is full of fear when I for first time heared the sound of gun shot.
Even
though I wore ear protection, I still felt that the sound shot my heart.
The most fearful moment is when I pulled my first trigger.
After sight alignment, I pulled my trigger little by little.
Pulled a little, no fire.
And then I pulled a little more, still no fire.
I felt the trigger was so heavy.
Next, I pulled more, no fire.
Finally, when I didn't notice it, the trigger activated the fire.
Oh, my god. I saw a ball of fire in front of my face and heard a very loud
sound
just nearby my ear. The recoil nearly made me drop my gun.
My hands began to shake.
"I need to take a rest." I thought and then put away my gun and cocked and
locked it, seeing others shooting.
"It scared me. And I may go home after finishing the rest four ammos in the
chamber." I realized and then went to check my target.
God blesses me! There is a small hole in the right upper corner of the paper
target. I hit my target.
Let me do again.
......
Eventually, I shot totally 50 ammos the first time I went to shooting range. |

ammo, ammunition是弹药的通称，一般不是可数的
具体的一发子弹，从结构上叫做一个cartridge，用来数数的时候一般用round做单位
我打了50发，一般说I fired 50 rounds of ammo
另外枪膛里只能放一发，the rest 4 rounds应该是"in the firearm"
另外放下"cocked and locked it"，放下前你的枪应该已经是cocked，所以你做的操作
应该只是lock而已

发帖数: 206 | 14 Just came back from first ever shooting. .45ACP pistol. I had a blast!
I thought recoil would be a big problem but it was mostly fun. I hold the
gun very rigid initially. Later on I was able to figure out how to hold it
tightly but still remain flexible. Accuracy was greatly improved once I do
that. The secret is in the left hand.
LZ's problem is you need to try play with the unloaded gun until you are
comfortable with it (including the trigger) before you shoot.

感觉就是很兴奋,一部分灵魂被激活,觉得人生又完整了一点.
那声音和气味跟过年放的鞭炮没太大的区别.

没关系，多大几次就好了，第一次不适应而已。如果去室外靶场，你会感觉好多了的，
室内空间有限，声波和冲击波会来回在墙之间反复冲击，所以感觉比室外响的多，大得

发帖数: 17771 | 19 第一次打枪就看见火球还挺不容易。俺第一次打枪，车停到室内靶场门口，一下车听到
里面枪响，自己感觉眼睛都要放光了。后坐力比俺想象的要小的多，也是朋友教的好，
握枪姿势一开始就不算离谱。事实上，俺打过的9mm, .45, .40, .380左轮等手枪以后
，都没觉得后坐力有多不好控制，除了最开始打p938觉得枪跳的厉害，甚至咬手。什么
时候试试.44 mag。步枪的后坐力更没什么感觉，包括5.56, 7.62, .308，没打过5.45
还。目前唯一让俺觉得后坐力真大的，就是00 Buck。
