CLIENT may terminate in good cause this contract at any time prior to the
filing of the I-140 petition with the Immigration and Naturalization Service
in only two situations: CLIENT departing United States to go back to home
country or ATTORNEY being incapacitated and no longer able to process CLIENT
Immigration petition. Good cause does not include, for example, CLIENT
deciding to retain the services of another attorney, delaying applying for I
-140 by not providing ATTORNEY all the necessary documents nor changing his
or her mind about applying for the specific category of permanent residency.
If CLIENT initiates termination of services, without good cause, CLIENT is
responsible for the entire Attorney’s fees under the contract. If good
cause is incurred, Fees owed to ATTORNEY will be prorated depending on the
stage of the I-140 petition and all property of CLIENT in ATTORNEY’S
possession will be delivered to CLIENT without undue delay。
你不能不耐烦就terminate合同，因为一旦你要求terminate，整个律师费你就得完全支
付，不但前期的付款一分钱都要不回来，本该批准后才给的那部分也得一起给了。 | l****G
