标 题: 潜在结核病菌需要吃药吗

我有过一个特别positive的TB test，医生说这回要做一个blood test，看有没有潜在
结核病菌。
如果有的话，就得吃几个月抗生素。我真心不想吃啊。。。。请问大家都吃的吗？
我以前做过x-ray，均正常。 | m*********n
发帖数: 160 | 2 如果TB test positive, 直接下一步是做X-ray.如果X-ray正常，现在不需要吃药。
也许是政策变了。几年前就算是x-ray正常，如果tb test positive,也一样要吃6-9个

发帖数: 838 | 3 I also had positive TB. My doctor told me to do blood test and chest X-Ray.
Both are OK, no active TB. The immigration doctor said that's good enough
for
USCIS. I then saw a pulmonary doctor and did another blood test to further
confirm I did not have TB. There are many variants of the bacteria, some can
cause positive
result but no problem.

发帖数: 838 | 5 If you need to take the medicine, why not?
The latent TB is not active when you are young, but can cause
you sick when you become older or weaker. That's what the doctor told me.
The medicine may have side effect, such as to the kidney.
So the doctor did further test to decide whether I need to take it.
As I said, a pulmonary specialist can further determine whether you
have problem, now or future.
