I just did Eb1a 140 e-filing to TSC (I belong to NSC territory). After
checking the generated pdf after aubmission, I noticed an error: in Part 6.
4. "Has any immigrant visa petition ever been filed by or on behalf of this
person?", BOTH No and Yes are checked. During e-filing, I did have some
trouble when providing the info of my previous NIW 140 (the e-file system
won't let me go though to the next step). I think I clicked No at some point
, but I am pretty sure I clicked back to Yes when I resolved the problem. So
what should I do, print the page with error and put a small note/
explanation to IO?
To save some potential trouble that you might see during e-fling, when
providing the info of your previous 140, don't use the format of 12/31/2009
(basically /)for the approval date of your previous I-140. This gave me at
least 10-minute headache. Hope this helps.
My brief background: 13 publications (including 2 conference abstracts), 1
China patent (not bought by anyone), 40 independent citations (I know, very
low, but not too bad in my field), 33 paper reviews. I will try my luck and
mail package and PP tomorrow.
Please, guys, I need your blessing and suggestions on how to address the
error I mentioned above. I don't have much MIT money, but will give out all
I have if good news comes in the near future (I will do PP tomorrow).

thing you need to do is to write a letter to explain and put them together
with your document evidences and sent to the same address. |

received RFE email. So sad ... But I in fact do not regret requesting pp, as
I don't want to suffer more than half
year and then (still possibly) receive RFE. But the problem is that I used
all I can use now and don't have any
additional evidences to provide (no additional paper, citation, review
during these 15 days). I prepared PL
based on all the good ideas/models here, and claimed publicatio: n,
contribution, and judging other work. (My
PL is kinda long though, 30 pages).
