看起来只有这么一句似乎有点用
‘is an edited compilation of links to articles from participating
publishers, covering a focused area of frontier research’
但是除了这个‘frontier’，其他陈述算是比较中性 | T*******y

If it's a re-compilation of other journals, I guess that you can't count the
publications twice. It is not worth of mentioning in PL, yet perhaps it can
be put into the "Other" section, together with other invitations that haven
't been materialized into publications, etc.

具体情况是，文章发在某个杂志，然后呢，这个focus on一个专门方向上的virtual
journal（相当于是online的杂志）收录了。这个virtual journal同很多杂志包括文章
发表的那个杂志有协议，可以把他们上面发表的这个小方向的文章集中到一起来。意思
是方便大家检索——当然人家也没有这么说出来。
所以他们提到是这个方向'frontier'的文章。
我的意思是说是否可以咋contribution里跟这篇文章相关的贡献点里面提出virtual
journal收录这件事作为影响力的一个证明？问题是很难证明这个收录与文章本身的
quality有关系，感觉这事而更像是与文章所在方向关系更大。

发帖数: 6523 | 4 Your feeling's right. This recompilation by the virtual journal itself may
not be so convincing, but if they can show that their recompilation renders
more circulations or citations of your papers, then you can make them say
that you are impacting the field.
Perhaps the best way is to ask this virtual journal's editor to explain this
concept of virtual journal and show some numbers, such as your papers'
downloads, etc to show your contribution to this field. Otherwise, if just
by this email, it may be confusing for the IO to understand it, and it may
not be much of an evidence of your contribution.
