I went to local USCIS office to request a copy of I-140 approval notice. But
the officer told me that my I-140 was still pending. She didn't know why I
got an email notice, which said I-140 was approved. The online status also
showed I-140 was approved.
Anybody had same experience? How can I find if my I-140 was approved or not? |

有approve啦？真是作弄人。

notice要花钱？我也要求了，而且是我的问题，他们免费寄啊

近排期大跃进，就赶紧年前递了485。不过觉得还是拿到140的approval notice心里踏
实。又不想交405刀，试试local office，结果找堵了。关键是不知道到底140批了没！
elsevier， 你是咋说的？他们给你免费寄。打了几次电话都说是要交I-824。 |

从case number找到你的I140.

Finally greened! Not sure if I have any BaoZi. But I would like to share our experience with everyone.
EB1A DIY (1st)
140 with PP RD: 11/10/2010
140 RFE RD: 11/23/2011
140 RFE Response Sent: 12/17/2011
140 Denied: 1/4/2011
EB1A DIY (2nd)
140 RD: 10/14/2011
140 AD: 11/3/2011 (Didn't receive the approval notice)
485 RD: 12/27/2011 (filed with 140 receipt. No approval notice)
FD: 1/17/2012
AP AD: 2/6/12; 3/1/2012 for LD
485 AD: 3/17/2012; 3/3/2012 for LD
Lot of people were confused with their online case status and not sure if their 485 got approved or not. The notices we received were in the following order with a few days apart.
1. "we ordered production of your new card." (online status: Card/ Document Production)
2. "we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status" (online status: Decision) - this notice is welcome notice which you will receive in mail.
3. " we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file" (online status:Card/ Document Production)
4."The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on XX X, 2012" (online status:Card/ Document Production)
5. "The USPS reported that your new card was delivered on XX X, 2012, directly to the address we had on file" (online status:Card/ Document Production)
So if you receive any of those notice, for sure you are greened.
