Graduated from College of Engineering in USA.
Published 7 journal papers in English as the first author .
Total 88 citations from Scopus including 8 self-citations.
About 15 to 20 oral/poster presentations in conferences.
1 travel award to the annual meeting of a North American Society.
1 travel award to a Summer special meeting held by ARVO.
Got several review invitations from one Journal years ago; But I only
finished one for them.
Just drafted two manuscripts as the second author. Right now, Boss is
holding these drafts. There is no way I can push it.
Being simultaneously writing 5 papers (4 first authors and 1 second author).
Hopefully, I can finish them by June.

I think the consensus is travel awards are not helpful for EB1a case (it may
even hurt your case). Not sure about NIW.

的要求还是充分满足了.如果EB1B应该也符合要求了.如果EB1A的话,我们算比较弱了.不
过事在人为,问问专业律师的意见吧. |

I do not see a chance for 1B in the near future.
One question: Why the travel awards will hurt my case in the case of 1A, but
not for NIW?

have to prove that I need that trunk of money so that attend the conference,

as bigbigbee said, travel fellowships are usually need-based. usually they
will give you the fellowship if
1) they have the money
2) you are presenting, and you ask for fellowship

national or international award (highly competitive), based on my
understanding.
