strange that for EB1 category,
1) from Jan 2012 to May 2012, the USCIS processed about 40-50% of pending
cases, REGARDLESS of priority date. That is, the total number of pending
cases from each month of 2011 was reduced by roughly 50%
2) it seems that there are 7,374 cases (priority date of 2011) and 6,194
cases (priority date of Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr of 2012) are still pending.
That is more than 13,000 pending cases !!!
Somehow I recall that it is estimated that there are about 8,000 visa
numbers remaining for EB-1 category for fiscal year 2012. Does that mean 50
% of EB-1 cases will not have visa numbers?
Can someone shed some lights please? Thanks!

for EB1. But you know, everything is guessing. Assuming EB1C does not speed
up too much, we might see EB1 quota running out in August. But if EB1C
slows down, we will not have problems. Everything is still in the air,
submit the 485 as soon as you can. hehe

when India EB-1C spiked?
3) Any idea that we can do something - e.g., writing to the senator(s)?
Even if it's impossible to solve the problem of EB-1C, we should at least
try to reduce the impact of Indian that abusing EB-1 category.
This will benefit not only EB-1 but also EB-2 because no Spill Over to EB2
if EB1-C is continue being abused.

EB1C），于是就出问题了。
