不是Top 10.
NIW 在 2011年6月递交，claim了4项，2011年8月批准。上年排期大进，因为觉的工作
稳定，也受点打击，没有及时跟进(事实证明大错特错）。
学校请的律师，claim了5项 （我建议只claim3项，律师不理我）。
律师一开始就强调我NIW已经批准。I am the first one in the USA... (我曾经帮大
公司做过一个项目，老美项目负责人自己帮我写了一份推荐信，里面强调 Dr
XXX is the first one in the USA to XXXX).
然后列5项:
Paper：
3篇Journal, 20+ Conference Proceedings （个人感觉我的Journal太少，我最弱的环
节，不然可以试EB1a了）
Citations：
自己整理，50+，简单表格，没做什么油灯图。 欧美澳中墨，在我的领域算不好不坏，
我的领域top 1 journal citation factor 也就1.6吧。
Review：
20 Journal Review for 3 journals， 10 for top 1 journal in my field.
Grand and Award:
Chinese NSF 的 co-investigator, 4 年 project, 一共100万RMB。我RP自认不错，也
沾了朋友的光。
Membership: 专业协会Senior member (不是fellow :-,不过要求regular memeber 8年
以上，我读博士时就加入了，刚升级成Senior member。我不想加，律师不理我，加上
）。
RLs：
共10封，7 美国， 3国外（全是中国人，7天内找的）；一共7个华裔. 其中4个算
Independent的吧，一个兼Top 1 Journal Editor的。
其实推荐信用的就是以前NIW的信外加3份来自临时乐意帮忙的3个老中，还是我的朋友
帮找的（在家靠父母，出门靠朋友，一点不假）。

1 Goverment Director
1 Industry Techical Leader
1 USA Professor and Research Director (USA)
1 Chinese Professor, 1 Japan Associate Professor, 1 Europe researcher
scientist (like me).
小Awards：
PhD期间的小awards既没有claim，School 的Award 也没有提，怕麻烦。
学校请的律师，主要工作是给我写Petition letter, 其他所有材料都是用上年NIW的。
不能说是特别的满意，比较马虎也催不得。不过不管怎样，帮我申请成功总是要
appreciate的，人要有感恩的心。
10/ 1/2012: Contact by lawyer to start. Sent out requests for
recommendation letters. Lawyer prepared draft based on my NIW materials.
10/ 8/2012(M) Collected all letters, send relative stuffs to lawyer
through next day service.
10/ 9/2012(T) Lawyer updated letters. Send me I140 for singature. I used
next day service to send it back.
10/15/2012(M): Lawyer sent out my case. [from 10/9 to 10/15 lawyer's
efficiency is low]
10/16/2012(T): Reach USCIS, receipt day, notice day.
10/19/2012(F): Lawyer told me the LIN number (suppose he can know it
earlier).
10/19/2012(F): Register on www.uscis.gov to check status. status:
Acceptance.
10/22/2012(M): 9:00AM 12:00PM 3:00PM, 6:00PM, 9:00PM status: Acceptance.
10/22/2012(M): 11:00PM Status: Decision (approved, informal)
10/23/2012(T): 8:00AM Status: Decision (approved, message updated).
Decision
On October 23, 2012, this I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER was
approved and we sent you an e-mail notice. Please follow any instructions on
the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer
service at 1-800-375-5283.
During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the
decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You
can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive
a final decision.
10/23/2012(T): 8:30AM Lawyer contact me and told me my case was approved,
but I still haven't received email from www.uscis.gov although I registered
for the notification service.
By the way, 同样律师事务所的另外一个律师上年说我的NIW推荐信是没用的东西,狠狠
地打击了我的信心，这也是我上年没交EB1B的主要原因之一。该律师刚给炒了鱿鱼，新
律师接手我的case,很幸运，是我的校友，他对我的case非常positive,最后我的case 3
星期内(从准备到批准）。当然，他也极力推荐我走regular processing,是我自己坚持
Premium Processing,实在受不了等待的痛苦。
