updated into "Request for Evidence". But after 15 days, no notice letter was
received by both my lawyer and me. I called USCIS, a lady said it allows 30
days to receive the notice letter. Then on Nov. 8th day, since there was
still no notice letter, I called again, a gentleman said he can create a
service request. Now, the notice letter still has not arrived. My lawyer
said he has called USCIS three weeks ago. And I called again today, a lady
said there is a call record made on Nov. 8th and I shall wait until the 15th
day before making further call.
Here is my worry. What about the timeline? Is it possible that the deadline
for responding to the RFE gonna be missed? According to the USCIS lady, the
timeline is usually 2-3 months. But I have not received the notice letter
for 40 days already. So, any idea and suggestion will be much appreciated! | s******4

140 which would save a life in case mail is lost.
I think you should just keep calling USCIS. Maybe you are eligible to file
for extensions because this is not due to your mistake. If you miss the
deadline your case is denied, you can appeal or motion to reopen.
