推荐人的时候，写了下面一段话（不知道是不是copy过版上哪个同学的一两句，忘了）

几句问候的话。
Finally, my lawyer completed the recommendation letter draft on your behalf
to support my green card application. Please read it and check the
descriptions about your credentials and everything else in the letter and
make corrections when necessary. If you are OK with it, please: 签名啥的。
Please note that this letter is written for my green card application only.
Certain words (e.g., outstanding scholar, international recognition,
significant contributions, etc.) have to be there to meet the application
requirements for the specific immigration category. However, all the
descriptions/statements in the letter are based on facts and there is no
false information. Such writing is to also make sure that officers at the
USCIS who don't have professional background in science can understand the
significance and impact of my studies and the contributions that I have made
to the field.
