The petitioner submitted the Civil Mediation Agreement. Although this
document is related to the divorce, it is not the final decree signed by a
judge showing that the marriage was legally terminated and on what date the
judgement became effective.
在中国，民事调解书和宣判书一样是有法律效应的啊，而且有了民事调解书，就算搞定
，是适用于没有纠纷的快捷方式，也不会有宣判书。当时，我请朋友翻译了一下，然后
让他签了一张“certification of translation”.其中也犯了个愚蠢的错误，因为就
算民事调解书也是由“审判员”落款的，但是翻译的时候抽筋把“审判员”译成了Jury
(陪审团)，撞墙！但是就算没有翻译的问题，他们可能也对"Civil Mediation
Agreement" 不满意。
不知道去大使馆公证一下有没有帮助？或者自己写信给移民官解释？
跪求大侠给些建议。拜托了！！ |

do you mean settlement agreement?
do you have "lihunzheng(pinyin)"?it has to be something showing that the
marriage was legally terminated and on what date the judgement became
effective. |
