Dear XXX,
Thank you so much for your help with drafting the letter!
I should have let you know that I actually retained XYZ, P.C. law firm
for the preparation of both my NIW and another EB1 petition at the very
beginning with a signed contract in 2011, which gave me a discount.
That's why they have been assisting me in preparation of my EB1B
documents. I just talked to them and they agreed to continue to provide
assistance till I get almost all my documents ready for filing,
including writing petition letter and organizing my supporting
documents. That means, I will have an almost complete petition package
to bring to you in a couple of weeks and you can then help me file the
petition. However, I still need your assistance in drafting the offer
letter/verification letter and preparing the I-140 form, et. al. Since
they are quite familiar with my case, it would be a good idea to process
my case this way.
In addition, based on their previous successful EB1B experience, I can
provide a signed letter from my PhD supervisor to verify that I am
employed as a research assistance (RA) for 5 years to make me meet the
requirement of 3-year research experience (please see attached).
Considering I am carrying twins and the delivery date is unpredictable,
I prefer to let you help me file the petition sometime in June, provided
everything goes smoothly.
