在fidelity,我有一个brokage acc和一个smart cash
看前面的讨论，smart cash能自动把mmf转成Cash付Check之类的。
mmf是必须用smart cash账户买，才能有这种服务么？
如果我用brokage account买mmf,smart cash会自动把brokage账户里面的mmf卖掉，划
钱过来了付支票吗？
另外一个问题，如果打算买点etf，那用smart cash账户和brokage账户买有区别么？
如果想最大化收益，我看前面那个ishare etf很好，是不是应该在卖掉Etf的时间段内
买mmf，而不是放Cash放着，虽然mmf收益没几个钱。 | s*****n

It depends on whether you want that way or not.
If you set up "self-funding", by linking your brokerage account with mysmart
cash account, it will sell mmf in your brokerage account to supply mysmart
cash account if needed.
No difference. You can buy eft from mysmart account. Personally, I keep two
accounts just to separate my investment and my everyday money pool, so I can
track the cost base and calculate investment return easily.

atm fee rebates, while brokerage acct has some requiremnts to meet
to get the fee rebate.

That should not be the reason to keep the brokerage account.
