标 题: 离职后FSA的问题

年前在2013年的FSA上放了$2500，在职期间做了个手术，reimburse 了近$2000。
后来换工作到另外一个城市。
现收到前Employee的电话，说这几个月工资中扣除的FSA不足以 cover $2000，要我寄
check回来补回差价。
据我所知，FSA是use or lose it。员工没用完，钱归公司（或FSA公司），要离职前用
过了，公司（或FSA公司）就承担这部分损失。
不知我理解得对不对？前employee这么做合理么？

发帖数: 1962 | 2 你理解错了。use it or lose it没错。没用完的钱是归国家，不是归任何公司。
你必须contribute你自己花的钱，公司不负责给你补窟窿。

发帖数: 1779 | 3 你最好再具体问问FSA的公司.可能每个单位不一样.我同学是学校的staff,她干了半年
被lay off,她离职前把FSA health care全花光了,但是她没有contribute够,学校HR说
goverment会eat up,就是她不需要补钱. |

Use it or lose it! If you have money taken out of your paycheck before

designed by IRS and why you could use up to the annul full amount at the
beginning of the year. It's like a kind of annual insurance. Actually, you
can PLAN this scenario if you anticipate leaving a job shortly after the New
Year.
Dependent-care FSA is different and this won't happen at all because you can
only use up to the amount already contributed.
