fund. 现在想开一个traditional non deductible IRA, 再转Roth IRA. 同时还想买
529. 不是很想再买target fund.不知道这两家谁好？如果我同时买529呢？也有好的投
资选择吗？

target date fund is for lazy investors). Either Fidelity or Vanguard works
, if you already have accounts with one of them, you should go with it,
otherwise, personally I like Fidelity for its wider choices of funds.
If your state offers tax benefits for 529, then go with your state plan.
Otherwise, NY 529 is a good option. |

发帖数: 692 | 4 先要确定州税的tax deduction可以用在其他州的plan上，我们是这种情况。我选了NY
的plan，唯一的标准就是fee低，Vanguard管的也放心，有target fund和有限的几个基
金选择，我买了一个股指基金。

Anyway. NY 529 boasts the lowest fees for 529 plan if you want vanguard
index funds (0.17%), BUT its international side has only developed market
option. Utah has Total international which include EM exposure. Also, you
may allocate up to 25% to Vanguard Emerging Market Index. It also carries
DFA funds. But it is a bit more expensive than NY.
Not familiar AK's 529 plan.

多谢，拜读了。
这篇文章指的是vanguard 费用比fidelity 低。我还有一个想法是，因为我已经有403
和457， 选的就是targetdate fund， 基本上就是把钱放进去不管。现在选IRA想稍稍
aggressive一些。higher risk, high return。是否fidelity 投资选择会多些？

我所在的州只能买本州529plan. 但是每年3000实在是聊胜于无。我想再放些钱到其他
perdormance好一些的529，不知道可行不可行？能允许一个人拥有二个以上的529吗？

学的他们才能同时受益：）但是好像你总共的contribution amount有限制。
