Maybe you should clarify what're your expectations more, "basic long term
investment" goal definitely helps clarify something important, but need more
clarity, such as:
Do you like to use stocks/bonds or Mutual Funds/ETFs to accomplish that goal
?
Do you have a large lump sum or will do DCA?
Do you trade frequently or only once or twice a year?
Do you want to do it yourself or want the brokerage do the robo trading for
you?
Do you need want that brokerage firm to have a local branch or not?
Do you want to minimize trading cost or want more features?
......
It's a competitive world for brokers, that's why each has its unique
features and hard to make a generic recommendation. |
