The thing is you don't have status between the H1b approval date and Oct1. (The old H1 might not be valid and the new one is not in effect yet). I don't know how this "out of status" works. I think it's acceptable gap.
Take your own risk if you like. The best way is, of course, wait u

decide to tell USCIS cease your old H1b or not. If they don't inform USCIS,
they should pay your salary. You can sue them if they don't pay you while
your H1b is still effective. Usually your old employer will cease your H1b

这样看来，还是希望今天H1B quota能持续长一点的时间，这样可以缩短距离10.1的时
间。新公司更可能会sponsor, 旧公司更可能会同意保持身份。
唉，为什么当初轻易的失去OPT。。。。。。 |

这个公司也不愿意这样做。看来只能放弃这个机会了，到7月份看还是不是有位置，并
