long). I already negotiated. There is no other choice.
The international program (IPS) office suggests we do intern during
summer. Currently I am doing my dissertation project. Hopefully, the
current stage will be finished in February. If I get the admission from my
advisor, how may I arrange the class selection and get tuition waiver? I
have RA and TA this semester. The class type I am registering is
dissertation credit hours.
Sure, I will go to ask IPS next Monday. I am eager to know how you guys

发帖数: 2235 | 2 I have the similar case with you. I check with the guys from OISS of my
school. Either CPT or OPT, I will lost my TA or RA job, which means I have
to pay the tuition by myself, further more, I can not get the TA or RA
salary from school anymore. Finally I negotiate with the company and they
agree me to fill the position from MAY. Because the money from the company
event can not pay my tuition.
Another thing is that, the application for the CPT is usually at the
beginning of the semester. in my school, intern is a course, you always
have to register the course at the beginning of the semester. Missing the
deadline, you can not apply for it anymore.
No sure you school have the same policy or not. | a******u

Seems that I have to confirm with the IPS of my university.
Next week is the second week, so I still have the chance to change my class
registration. The problem is that if I go to do intern right now, nobody in
my lab can overtake my project.
If I cannot get tuition waiver, I will try to let the company cover my
tuition. I understand the situation is very tough. Little chance... |
