发帖数: 838 | 1 While Cisco does not look good at his point, judged by recent performance of
the stock, the general network industry is very hot.
Why is that? As I observe:
1) New types of network gears such as application acceleration led by
Riverbed and F5 (RVBD FFIV)
2) New demands for gears to build *high-bandwidth* data centers from both
wired and wireless service providers such as AT&T/Comcast to meet the ever-
growing multimedia content delivering. Several small players are thriving by
this demand.
Check the stocks of these:
FNSR
JDSU
APKT
CIEN
JNPR
Cisco seems to be lag a bit in both of these areas.
Usually the small players benefit from the good performance of the industry
leader, but right now they take advantage of their big brother's slow move. |
