发帖数: 9 | 1 我的情况是这样的，2010年五月master毕业，opt 也在五月生效，并开始在另一所大学
开始工作（full time position）。
现在还有三个月opt就到期了。 现在的学校的HR和OISS在帮我办non-profit 的h1b。
可是我资料都交给他们2 个多月了，他们还没有递交给uscis， 我最近一直问他们，他
们告诉哦我说uscis关于h1b出台了新规定：“We are working on your H-1B
application, but there is a new requirement related to deemed exports, so we
have to work out a new process for that.”。 我又问他们要多久才能解决，可他
们说“At the current time, we are not certain how long this process will
take. We have someone working on the process. ”
我开始怀疑能不能及时解决我的h1b问题，我总不能等到我的opt过期吧。所以我又问了
我毕业的学校，他们说我可以办opt extension， 只要问一下我现在工作的单位的e-
verify id。 于是我又问工作单位的oiss，可是他们推脱着不告诉我他们的e-verify
id， 原话这样的：“Our attorneys are telling us that we cannot give out our
E-Verify number, except to those who are on projects that require that the
person be E-verified. If we do otherwise, I am told, then we will have to
do E-Verify for everyone. So, that means that unless you are on a project
that requires E-Verify, then you cannot do the 17-month extension.”
想问大家他们的这种说法对吗？不是他们有义务告诉employee他们的e-verify id吗？
想问问大家他们说的最近的h1b 的 deemed exports的变化是有这么回事吗，还是他们
自己办事不力？还有我可以怎样得到现在单位的e-verify id 呢。如果现在换一家新单
位的话，还可以opt extension 吗？
