为又跟以前一样黄了，没想到两周前HR来电话说they are interested in your
background and decided to move forward with your H-1B。随后律师联系我跟我要
材料，我就给发过去了。我以为他们就是想估计一下我这种情况（H-1B -> F-1 -> H-
1B）办H-1B的复杂度，然后再决定是不是给我onsite。谁知道前两天律师发来email说：
On mm/dd/2011, we have received the documentation, from both you and XXX (公
司名) necessary to move forward with XXX's H-1B/Change of Status (COS)
petition preparation. This matter is now within the drafting queue. A team
member will be in contact with you should we require any additional
information and/or documentation to prepare XXX's H-1B case; otherwise, we
will notify you/XXX via email once the H-1B COS petition is filed with the
USCIS.
我晕，难道H-1B petition不需要公司的offer letter？我都还没onsite过，更甭提
offer letter了，可律师竟然说材料全了就要file了，分特。我现在是F-1，file上去
了公司回头又不要我，岂不是要变成黑人了？
是50强的大公司，每年sponsor成百上千个H-1B，应该不会这么不懂吧？？这是怎么回
事啊？谁能帮分析一下。谢谢！ |

，里面写的start date是March 1st。
搞错人？我的情况这么特殊：H-1B -> F-1 -> H-1B。昨天律师还发信来问我有没有OPT
或者CPT，如果没有必须要等approval才能上班，而且都CC给HR和Hiring Manager了阿
，他们难道还意识不到搞错人了？意识到了就应该跟律师说阿，可今天律师又来信说如
果申了OPT或者CPT尽快update他们。

只有H1B批准了原来的身份才丢掉

发帖数: 968 | 11 没有吧，抠门和公司大小关系不大吧？我以前的公司也是200强，号称北美十大商业银
行之一。直到去年夏天才淘汰办公室的CRT显示器，喝公司的咖啡每月还要交三十块钱
，interview candidate口渴了只能上厕所对嘴喝自来水。。。一般老中开的几十人的
小公司也没有这么抠的吧。。。
