Senior Software Developer:
Responsibilities
Build and design desktop Java applications (e.g., data import,
conversion, text matching and integration utilities) for Windows
Design, implement, test, document, and support software technologies
that extend the Geosemble GeoXray product.
Work closely with other software engineers, research directors and
product specialists to build quality software and provide innovative
solutions for Geosemble customers
Required Background and Skills
B.S. or M.S. degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
Strong hands-on commercial development experience with Java (with 2 to 3
years industry experience)
Database (Spatial in Oracle, particularly) experience, incl. JDBC
Experience with creating and delivering winning products into an
evolving and competitive marketplace
Superior analytical, problem solving, and engineering skills
Ability to work with a team in a fast paced solution oriented
entrepreneurial environment
Additional Skills Desired
Web programming experience (AJAX, Google Map or Virtual Earth)
Familiarity with Google Earth APIs
C/C# programming experience
Familiarity with ESRI GIS data (shapefile, geodatabase) and OGC formats
(GML/KML)
Senior Web Application Developer:

JavaScript, SSL, Web 2.0)
User Interface design for usability
Database (Oracle and MySQL) experience, incl. JDBC
Experience with creating and delivering winning products into an
