现在老公想辞职，想问一下问题：
1）老公辞职后到10月1号之前，是不是还是F1 opt status？
2）如果老公在10月1号之前找到工作，是不是可以用H1B Transfer？
3）如果老公在10月1号之前没有找到工作，是不是得马上转身份？（我现在是h1b）
真是很着急，请版上多多提供信息，多谢！！！ | S*****t

1 and he wants to keep F-1 OPT status after 10/1, he needs to do the
following: ask the company to submit a withdrawal request of his H-1B
petition to USCIS; once USCIS receives the request and issues a notice of
revocation, bring the notice to the international student office and ask
them to fix his record in SEVIS. Then he is back on F-1 OPT status. REMEMBER
will be out of status after 10/1.
2) No, the new company needs to file a new H-1B petition for him.
3) If he successfully changes his status back to F-1 OPT (as described above
), then he doesn't need to change to H-4; otherwise, he has to file COS
petition before 10/1 or file a reinstatement application to get back to F-1 OPT status (not recommended). | S*****t
