(Senior) Consultant / Engagement Manager
REPORTING LINE: Principle (base in Beijing) and Senior Principle (base in
Shanghai)
LOCATION: Shanghai

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In essence, the main orientation of this team is to deliver technology-based
consulting services and solutions to clients in the pharmaceutical,
healthcare, and life science related sectors. In particular, this role
needs to:
1.Identify and understand clients’ business needs, and then design,
development and implement technology-based solutions to help them achieve
greater efficiency, effectiveness and responsiveness of their commercial
operations
2.Work with a team of analysts and developers to drive the development of
new offerings and solutions, and ensure an end-to-end management of the
projects.
3.Assess clients' unmet business needs, and then sell and deliver end-to-end
management of projects
TOP 3 REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate should have:
1.4 - 7+ years of experience in developing and delivering technology based
solutions in the areas of master data management, business analytics, CRM,
and mobile applications, etc. from leading IT/management consulting firms
2.Proven track record of success in selling, managing and delivering on
client projects
3.Proactive, open, and creative mindsets; strong communication (Chinese and
English) and people skills, with ability to engage clients to understand
business needs
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
1.Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Management (i.e. strong
technology background, with the ability to work with common programming
languages and platforms such as MS SQL, C#, Apex, VisualForce, Java, HTML5,
etc). MBA/Master degree is a plus
2.Experiences in pharmaceutical, healthcare, life science, medicine, or
medical device industries are preferred
3.Strong team-building and leadership skills required |
