The candidate will work in the Purification Process Development (PPD) group.
He/She will be part of a technical team involved in developing purification
processes for the manufacture of monoclonal antibodies and other proteins
at clinical and commercial scale. This will mainly involve bench scale
development activities as well as technology transfer to pilot and clinical
manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will have the passion to
develop and implement new technology.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or other related
Sciences & 0 to 6 years related experience
OR
Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or other related
Sciences & 0 to 3 years of directly related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Lab experience highly preferred. Experience with large-scale processing,
bench scale processing (AKTA) and high-throughput screening on TECAN.
Experience in developing purification processes for clinical and commercial
manufacturing. Experience in process technology transfer. Demonstrated
ability to work well in a team environment. Excellent communication skills
– both verbal and written. Skill in using design of experiments (DOE) for
experimental design and data analysis, including interpretation of
analytical data, is highly preferred. Also required is proper documentation
of laboratory data, presentation and discussion of results at department and
project meetings, and timely preparation of internally reviewed technical
reports. |
