DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• PhD in Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in biomedical research and/or development
of medical products
• Experience with biological evaluation of biomaterials and medical
devices.
• Good understanding of metallurgy, corrosion and surface science,
electrochemistry, mechanics and fatigue/failure analysis of materials.
• Familiarity with surface analysis and analytical chemistry
techniques and their use in problem solving.
• Experience with materials selection and structure-property
relationship utilization for medical device application.
• Proven independent technical problem solving skills.
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Have potential and demonstrated skills in broad,
interdisciplinary areas (polymers, biomaterials, biologicals, interfaces,
engineering design).
• Proven continuous learning and leadership potential.

Corporation for a while after graduation. Unfortunately, I was laid off Jan
, 2012. Then I focused on a family start-up business for one and half years
. Now a product patent is filed and my job is done here. I'm looking
forward to going back to China to work as a Materials Scientist.
