Research & Development - Scientist/ Engineer (PhD) from Overseas Channel -

Description
R&D Scientists/ Engineers are responsible for inventing, reapplying,
developing and delivering breakthrough product, process, raw material and
packaging technologies that provide delightful and winning brand experience
to consumers. They work on cutting edge technologies with multi disciplinary
and highly professional teams across the company. In R&D, we have
opportunities in a variety of technical fields: Products Research, Process
Development, Raw Material Development, Packaging Development, Analytics,
Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs in the areas of Beauty Care, Hair Care
, Perfume, Chemicals, Home Care and Personal Health Care.
Responsibilities
Manage the coordination and execution of the technical function of
specific project activities
Manage the design and execution of consumer and technical tests to
develop research concepts
Identify problems and implement solutions to technical issues
Acquire technical expertise rapidly in new areas
Provide technical rationale and support for patent applications
Develop and qualify new products, materials, packages and processes
Serve as primary functional representative in project team meetings
Manage the process qualification, validation and technology transfer to
plants

Qualifications
We are looking at candidates who will be available for full time employment
from July 2013 onwards. All interested applicants:
1. must be seeking / possess a PhD degree in a technical field such as
Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Biomedical
Engineering, Chemistry, Bio-chemistry, Physical Chemistry or a related field.
2. must be eligible to work in China, willing to be relocated in Beijing,
China and to accept a locally based compensation. Non Chinese applicants
must have at least 2 years official work experience to be eligible to get
the Beijing work permit.
3. must be able to work independently, multi task and perform in a high
pressure environment
4. must possess excellent problem solving skills and ability to use data
to connect multiple ideas and develop solutions
5. must have strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect
with people from different cultures and levels, both internally and
externally
