1.Staff Software Engineer
Job Requirements
• BS/MS in CS or related field.
• 5 – 8 years experiences in requirements analysis, design, coding
and unit testing of high scalable, distributed and fault-tolerant
application
• Expertise required in object-oriented design methodology and
application development in Java and J2EE including Sprint, Hibernate, AJAX,
JQuery, servlets, JSP, Java Beans, JDBC. Knowledge of XML, XSL, CSS,
JavaScript and HTML required
• Experience with database and SQL, preferably Oracle
• 2+ years in leading medium to-large J2EE project development
• Project experience with JBoss or other J2EE application server
required
• Hands-on experience with J2EE application
• Experiences with SOA, web service, REST etc.
• Experiences in developing highly scalable applications a major
plus
• I18N and L10N experience is a big plus
2.Senior Software Engineer
Job Requirements
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline (
or equivalent).
• 5+ years’ work experience in software development area with at
least 3+ years’ experience in Java programming and web-application
development.
• Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data
structures, and algorithms.
• Good knowledge about performance and scalability.
• Expertise required in object-oriented design methodology and
application development in Java and J2EE, including Spring, Hibernate, AJAX,
jQuery, servlets, JSP, Java Beans, JDBC. Knowledge of XML, XSL, CSS,
JavaScript, and HTML required.
• Mature Debugging & troubleshooting skills in Large-scale software
product.
• Experience of SEM, SEA, SEO is preferred;
• Solid DB skills, data mining expertise are preferred.
• Familiarity with search/recommendation/classification applications
and domains preferred.
• Proven results oriented person with a delivery focus in a high
velocity, high quality environment.
• Strong communication skills in Oral and Written English.
• Working Experience in Multi-national Company is a plus.
3.Manager, Software Development
As part of the ESP Data organization, this team is responsible for build
world-class behavioral data platform. The team will deal with Big data,
complex distribute system and challenges all over the world.
Responsibilities will include:
• Lead development efforts, coordinate with Data and Data
Infrastructure teams as well as Product Manager groups to design and
develop big data solutions on Hadoop platform, and to ensure quality and a
positive user experience for all delivered solutions
• Work with engineers, managers, Product Managers, QE, and
Operations teams to develop innovative solutions that meet market needs with
respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic
schedules, and adhere to development goals and principles.
• This position will make significant architectural decisions and
also work with other teams on high performance/high availability distributed
systems.
• Technical lead for large, complex analytic platform projects.
Develop strategic and tactical implementation plans considering key business
objectives and resource constraints
• Participate in requirement meetings with eBay end-users to
clarify requirements. Understand eBay''s unstructured data sets. Assist in
documenting requirements, resolving ambiguities and conflicts, and gather
consensus.
• Estimate engineering effort, prioritize projects, plan
implementations, and help rollout system changes. Help define, and supervise
the design and implementation of complex, multi-tier distributed software
applications.
• Identify process, technology challenges and deficiencies that
need to be addressed and drive those changes to successful adoption.
• Mentor, grow and empower team members in design, coding
techniques and time management
• Proactively identify and resolve resource conflicts and set
priorities for parallel projects. Work closely with Product Manager on
resource and project reprioritization and subsequent impacts. Communicate
these impacts effectively.
• Identify project risks and be able to provide alternatives
yielding reduced risk
