TITLE: Senior Design Engineer- Hydro Automation
DUTIES:
Responsible for developing Automation Control System hardware and software
configurations with specialization in hardware or software aspects of the
department business. Will perform contract review, system analysis, design
calculations (System Engineering), hardware design, software development (
Component Engineering), test and commissioning tasks for Voith Hydro power
station control systems. Will be responsible for technical review and
release of deliverables developed by other Design Engineers on assigned
projects. Responsible for organizing and executing module level system
engineering and component engineering design reviews. Travel to project
sites 15-35% of time; projects may require 6 weeks on-site.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have 3 yrs’ experience as Automation Engineer or related. Need 3 yrs’
experience as Engineer working with Automation and Conrols hardware and
software;3 years experience developing PLC and HMI software and the design
of control system networks for Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC systems; 2 years
experience in the use of XML exports in HMI and PLC code development. Exp.
can be gained concurrently. Must have M.S. (or foreign equivalent) in
Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related
discipline; In lieu of M.S. degree, will accept B.S. (or foreign equivalent)
in same fields followed by 5 years of progressive experience in Automation
and Controls, and the 5 years experience can be gained concurrently with the
required specific experience.
SALARY: $75292.46 - $78,000
HOURS: 40 hours per week (M-F; 9-5)
