Responsibilities:
· Provide the organization with technical expertise on all aspects
of the processes and processing techniques used by the refinery to ensure
the following: Optimized achievement of the production plan including run
rates, yields, and quality of product. Utilization of continuous improvement
to drive out waste and inefficiency and enhance profitability. Initiates
and justifies new projects, additional monitoring, and improvements to the
unit. Evaluates the economic feasibility of projects assigned and provides
Process Engineering services during engineering, construction, and start-up
of projects. Makes decisions independently on engineering problems and
methods to rapidly correct or improve process issues. Performs advanced
engineering calculations (i.e., mass balances, energy balances, conversion
calculations) to optimize equipment and product quality.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
· 3 plus years experience in a refining or petrochemical
environment.
· Must be authorized to work in the United States.
