significant experience in designing rotating turbomachinery (compressors,
turbines, pumps and/or fans).The successful candidate will design state-of-
the-art turbomachines, carry out high-quality computational fluid dynamics (
CFD) calculations, cover component rig testing, and provide detailed
aerodynamic analysis based on the CFD and experimental data. They will
manage and execute a wide range of turbomachinery projects, participate in
design reviews, suggest and support design best practices, and play a
significant role in developing advanced technologies in turbomachinery.The
applicant must possess good understanding of the physics and principles
ofturbomachinery aerodynamics, creativity and problem-solving skills, a
proven track record for technical excellence, practical approach and
teamwork, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong
connection to the turbomachinery industry and academic community is an asset
, as is familiarity with design tools. This is a mid to high-level position
that requires 7+ years of experience in turbomachinery aerodynamics or
