Missouri University of Science and Technology Department of Business and
Information Technology seeks to fill atenure-track Assistant Professor
position in Finance beginning in Fall 2017. Preferred teaching interests
includecorporate finance, international finance, and other finance-related
courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.
The normal teaching load is 2 courses per semester. The candidate is
expected to provide high-quality instruction and research, participate in
developing the finance program in the department, serve on department and
campus committees, and provide academic advising to students.

Minimum Qualifications
PhD or DBA in finance (ABD candidates with a definite completion
date may be considered)
Preferred Qualifications
PhD or DBA in finance (ABD candidates with a definite completion
date may be considered) from an AACSB-accredited institution is preferred
Evidence of excellence in teaching finance courses at undergraduate
and graduate levels
Experience in teaching online or distance classes
Commitment and demonstrable ability to be a productive scholar
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups
