Job Purpose - Software Engineer with strong programming for electro-
mechanical systems.
To develop and maintain software programs, primarily in machine robotics
automation. To implement electro-mechanical systems for automated
manufacturing processes.
Job Functions
Design software for automated machines/equipment.
Development of test application, business programs and other database
programs.
Improve existing programs.
Data entry into programs, i.e. robotic test programs.
Other database activities such as updating database structure (i.e. adding
fields) as assigned by the Software Engineering Manager.
Provide Engineering support to technicians during implementations of
automated machines/equipment.
Provide technical solution to problems during fabrication, troubleshooting
and implementation of automated machines/equipment.
Assist senior programmers as required.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION/SKILLS
Electrical or Computer Science (BSEE or BSCS) – MSEE OR MSCS is a strong
plus
2+ years’ work experience developing codes & programs for computer-
controlled automation equipment.
Must have strong PLC programming experience with C++ and JAVA. Experience
with HTML, SQL & Visual Basic are desired, but not required.
Solid knowledge of programming for engineering applications
Must have experience with…
Electrical and pneumatic control systems.
Computer vision-aided automation design.
Process automation and control system integration.
Experience with test instrumentation such as us Agilent, Tektronix & Natl
Instruments (a strong plus)
Previous work experience in an ISO manufacturing environment is strongly
preferred.
Testing RF and Microwave components is preferred.
We are seeking a hard-working & devoted team player with a “can do”
attitude. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in a fast-paced,
manufacturing environment.
