Location: San Jose, California
Responsibilities:
Design, build and maintain a Big Data Platform that is fault-tolerant and
scalable
Participate in API-based integration and ScaleFlux platform based build-out
data architecture and pipeline design
Integrating ScaleFlux platform into different type
applications
Design and contribute on file system as well as caching layer
Requirements:
BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent with 2 years of experience
2+ years Java development experience
Extensive knowledge of UNIX/Linux
Preferred:
MS or above in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
Experience in building scalable, high-performance, reliable, highly
available and large distributed systems
Experience in working with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop
ecosystems, Kafka, Zookeeper, Elasticsearch, Yarn, MapReduce, Storm, HBase
and Cassandra
Experience in SQL based technologies, MySQL, Spark-Sql, MongoDB and DynamoDB
, Parquet, ORC
Good understanding of performance monitoring and management
