Join security master technology team as senior developer/quantitative
engineer to support SIG security master and EOD pricing needs. As a
senior developer/lead will evaluate complex business requirements,
prepare and provide technical solution and prototypes for full life
cycle of projects. In this role, the individual will participate in a
wide variety of product management initiatives and will lead complex
analyses gathering large-scale data from multiple system platforms of
various product groups, modeling critical business process, linking
and optimizing the workflow of related system in order to answer
critical business questions to assist key strategic decisions. Acts
as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program
development, testing, and implementation process. Supports and
maintains current applications by providing expert technical advice,
debug and trouble shoot production issues and responds rapidly to such
events. Provides leadership and direction to ensure timely delivery of
projects and less experience developers on team.
Qualifications
Must have very strong coding expertise in Java with POJO, J2EE and Jboss
Working knowledge with Tomcat Server, JSF, EJB, Java Seam, Drool is
preferable.
Must be able to write code in Perl 5.1.10 using OO principles.
Must have good understanding of software version control and have
experience in working with version control tools including SCCS, CVS
Must have hands on working experience with Sybase and Oracle database,
SQL, UNIX shell scripting and Autosys with 5-7 years of experience in
building large and complex financial systems.
Must possess strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work independently and have skills to lead and direct
technical challenges
Be a role model as team player
Must have minimum 10 years of technology discipline development
experience or in combination with research experience in analytical
fields, finance related.
At least 5+ years of investment banking experience with security
master data and end of the day pricing
