The SAS/DM Programmer is responsible for providing SAS and Data management
programming support with respect to design, conduct & analysis of clinical
trials. The Programmer will be mainly responsible for database
specification review, data review and developing data edit checks in SAS. He
/she will also help to prepare analysis datasets, summary tables and graphs
for presentations, manuscripts and reports. The Programmer will participate
in the clinical trial process by reviewing CRFs, Data Management, Analysis
Plans, and Analysis Database Documentation. The SAS/DM Programmer will also
serve as the liaison between Cytokinetics and our appointed CROs for data
related issues. It will be his/her responsibility to ensure that all the
data management work and tasks done by CROs are completed accurately and on
time.
Requirements:
Minimum three years of hands-on experience in clinical SAS programming and
data management in biotech/pharmaceutical/CRO companies with a master’s
degree in computer science, statistics or related field. The candidate
needs to have a good understanding of EDC and CDISC, and have solid
knowledge of BASE SAS, and SAS MACROs. Statistical expertise in analysis of
variance, categorical data analysis, survival analysis, and mixed linear
models is helpful. Candidate must be detail oriented, and have excellent
validation, documentation and communication skills.
The location is in South San Francisco, CA.
