1. Review existing image processing algorithms especially for ultrasound
breast. The algorithms include de-noise, segmentation, feature extraction,
etc.
2. Implement and compare algorithms, and work together with the team to
develop in-house image segmentation algorithm for specific use
3. Work in close collaboration with clinical partner to manage and process
the data and optimize the algorithms based on the clinical feedback
4. Generate intelligent properties and publications
Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Majored in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering or computer
science, minimum is master degree, a PhD degree is preferred, and
publication in leading international conferences/journals is a plus
2. Have solid background in medical image processing, numerical analysis,
pattern recognition & signal processing, experience with ultrasound medical
image segmentation is highly desirable
3. Rapid prototype development of new algorithmic ideas and concepts is
highly desirable
4. Familiar with medical ultrasound modality, especially understand the
principle of ultrasound imaging well
5. Proficiency in a high level programming language matlab is required, c/c+
+/c# is plus, knowledge of databases (SQL, Oracles...) is plus
6. Fluent in English, hard-working, strong communication skills, and ability
to work independently and with an interdisciplinary team.
