development and maintenance of web-based training videos and online
communities for caregivers of the elderly people with Alzheimer’s disease
or related dementia, particularly the family caregivers of Chinese cultural
backgrounds. Interns will have the opportunity to work with researchers from
Harvard.
TASKS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Assist in the development of web-based health educational programs and
community outreach for caregivers of the elderly people with Alzheimer’s
disease or related dementia, particularly the family caregivers of ethnic
Chinese cultural backgrounds.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Fully bilingual (in written and oral English/Chinese),Cantonese
is a requirement
• Ability to work 10 to 15 hours per week
• Knowledgeable in social media
• Previous experience on health related marketing highly
preferred but not required
• Interests in the aging field, especially Alzheimer’s diseases
and related dementia; willing to work with family caregivers
• Public health, social science, and marketing students preferred.
