(Senior) Scientist – Health Economic Statistics
Job Description
1.Participate in conducting systematic literature review and evidence
synthesis (e.g. meta-analysis) for the purpose of health economic model
development and reimbursement submissions
2.Serve as contributor for the development of health economic models to
access cost-effectiveness of products under the guidance of superior
3.Independently adapt health economic models per local guidelines to
support local reimbursement needs;
4.Prepare oral presentations and/or written reports to communicate results
of economic evaluations;
5.Serve as contributor for the development of models to assess the health
economic viability of pre-clinical candidates or products in development
under the guidance of superior
6.Collaborate in the statistical analysis and reporting of health economic
data from randomized clinical trials;
7.Conduct health economic analysis with data from observational studies or
large databases;
Requirements
Education and Experience Requirement:
•PHD / Master's degree in Economics, Health Economics, Health Services
Research, Operations Research, Statistics, Epidemiology, or relevant
quantitative discipline
Required Experience and Skills:
•Strong quantitative and computer skills
•Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to
collaborate effectively with others
•Strong programming skills with statistical analysis software SAS, R,
or other languages
Preferred:
•Strong quantitative skills with academic or practical experience in
at least one of the followings: conducting economic evaluation, statistical
analysis, evidence synthesis and/or model building
•Strong programming skills with Visual Basic Application (VBA), C
language or other programming languages
•Strong skills with Excel, PowerPoint
