Experis is seeking qualified Software Developers fora direct hire position
with our manufacturing client located in Ecorse Michigan (outside Detroit).
The successful candidates will be responsible for the design, development,
testing and support of process control computer systems. The successful
candidate will directly impact their operational area in automation and
support. The key technology skills and experience required for the positions
include JAVA, C++ and C#. Systems are homegrown, legacy systems built
specifically for the client's business requirements. There are other dated
technologies that are involved, not as prevalent including Fortran. Previous
hands on experience and knowledge with Fortran not required.
The role will be to support, optimize and enhance custom systems in these
technology areas. Major Responsibilities include:
*Document project requirement and develop programs to successfully provide
expected functionality using US Steel and industry standard practices
*Under general supervision, modify moderate to complex applications programs
*Mathematical models, reporting, screen design, and web page development
Candidate Specification:
Minimum Requirements:
4-8 years experience in operating systems, software design, programming
concepts, Microsoft Office, and C, Java or C#
- Experience with manufacturing customers is desirable but not mandatory.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical
Engineering or Computer Engineering required

Full time position offers a competitive salary, full benefits package

operate 24 hours per day each day of the year. This position will require
occasional work on weekends, holidays and off hour support. It is expected
