Job Title:
Research Scientist-Vibrational Spectroscopy
Job Requirements:
Ph.D. in physics, materials science or chemistry
Strong theoretical and experimental skills in both FT-IR and Raman
spectroscopies, including
familiarity with a wide range of sampling approaches for different material
types
Hands-on experience utilizing FT-IR interpretation for structural
elucidation
Demonstrated ability to conduct independent and collaborative
research
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Spectroscopic analysis of polymeric samples
FT-IR microscopy and/or confocal Raman microscopy experience
Familiarity with polarized Raman spectroscopic techniques
Chemometric techniques for the analysis of spectroscopic data
Development and implementation of online spectroscopic methods (i.e
., Process Analytical
Technology)
